San Francisco shopping outlet stores

I m going to San Fran in nov this year for a 2day stopover and I love shopping. Will be staying in Union square.

San Fran shopping centre is close by. Just wondering are there any outlet stores within walking distance. I love designer clothes, but I do not want to pay "designer" price.

Any tips/suggestions would be most appreciated.

Marshall's - if it still opened, I think somebody told me it's closing on Market @ 5th. Ross on Market @ 4th. Burlington on 4th @ Howard.

Just look them up before arriving to make sure they are still there.

For shoes, comfy and inexpensive, Aerosoles on Sutter @ Stockton.

I could be wrong but I don't think that Ross, Marshall's and Burlington are what the OP had in mind. I *think* they are looking for high end designer closes that are sold at brand specific outlet stores, usually located in a shopping center full of similar stores.

There's a Nordstrom Rack in the city - at 8th and Brannan - that's probably your best bet for designer duds at a discount within the city limits.

Many thanks for your helpful tips.

Thank you Danyenu, how did you know that I have a shoe 'addiction'? Great, I also love shoes that are inexpensive and comfy - suit my budget fine. Cheers.

sf3707: thank you for the website addresses. It all helps tremendously. Much appreciated.

happy shopping to me ... Can't wait

There is also a DSW right on Powell kind of across the street form H&M. One year my DD & I picked up a bunch of shoes there.

There is also an UGGS - not an outlet though- on Sutter if you like those.

If you're looking for designer fur and/or leather, I happened to walk buy an outlet in the Design Center area on Sunday. I don't know the name, but it's in the same building as Source Restaurant, which is at 11 Division Street.
