We are going to San Francisco for 4 days to celebrate my husband's 50th. Can anyone suggest a really good restaurant for a special dinner for the occasion?
Also any tips on things not to miss while we are there.
Many thanks!

Aqua's multicourse dinner with multiple wines is pretty amazing if you like adventuresome seafood.
Dim Sum at Yank Sing is a VG lunch stop.
The breakfast lemon souffle pancakes with fresh raspberries and raspberry sauce at the Hot Stanford Court are world class.
Alcatraz is worth a visit if you've never seen it. Also, Beach Blanket Babylon is great.
I would get tickets (will call) in advance for both.

You might check out Gary Danko for dinner. Quince is also getting great reviews. If you are coming relatively soon check out an evening at the Empire Plush Room at the York Hotel. We just heard Wesla Whitfield there last evening. She's there through next week followed by Rita Moreno and then Paula West. It's a nice small venue. Tix are $20-30 and there's a two drink min. The two drinks can also be tea, calistoga etc.
Pam,
What's the word on Suite? It sounds interesting.
