San Diego lodging-Please Help!

Jump to last reply

I'm consdiering two hotels/motels in S.D. in May: the Best Western Inn Lamplighter on El Cajon by the state u. and the Days Inn Sea World/airport on Rosecrans.

Basically I need to know the quality of each area. The Days Inn is closer to everything, but the Best Western location seems more ideal (less seedy) based on reviews at Tripadvisor, etc.

Please send thoughts about each hotel/motel, but mainly each area. Is the state u. too far from most attractions? I will have a car, but don't want to drive forever.
