Red rocks rock!

Dining in the Seaport area is a delight--many good restaurants. We especially enjoyed a Greek cafe for lunch.
This place is walking distance south of the Gas Lamp hotel where we stayed. Dining out at night is a delight here where most everyone sits outside. Sometimes live music. Didn't do Sea World, did it in Florida--a safe, worthwhile adventure and entertainment for all ages just as it claims. Lots of freedom, one price, worth it.
I just stayed at the Hilton Bayfront and it was great. Right near Petco Park and walking distance to the Gaslamp.
Here is my trip report

I stayed at the Hotel Solamar when I was in San Diego and sbsolutely loved it. It is a Kimpton Hotel, if you ever stayed in one before. Anyway, it was right by Petco Park and a very enjoyable walk if I wanted to explore the Gaslight District or waterfront areas. I highly recommend it and will probably try to stay there again when I return this February.
