Any feed back on this restaurant? They are having a jazz group I would like to see, but the reviews I have read for the restaurant seem less than stellar [or even less than good].
While I would like really good food, I would be okay with good food. There is a $23 food minimum in addition to the ticket for the music.
Also, has anyone gone there and listened to the concerts from the bar area? They say they cannot guarantee a seat in the bar area [show is 75 minutes] not that there will be no obstructions.
I am specifically asking this last question in regard to the Houston location; I know they have others.

Here's the most recent review from www.b4-u-eat.com. There are other reviews on that website. I've never eaten there, and don't know anyone who has.
MY REVIEW: I've been there sevral times over the last few years. Have had dinner a few times and I have to agree with most of your reviewers. Nice place but over priced. Best dish I had there was the sea bass, acouple of years ago. Had it again recently and not the same. Smaller portion, not as good. One thing I have noticed in reading your customers reviews, it that Sambuca's is not listening to thier customers. The consistent comments about food, wine list and price are overwhelming but no visiable changes. I will continue to go, however because of the music. I especially like to here Heli Joe Martinez, when he plays with Water Colours.
