Salt Lake City
Flying in from Texas to Salt Lake City and then to Park City for a summer vacation. Is there somewhere good to go for lunch in Salt Lake City before we head to Park City? Thanks

For lunch:
Red Butte Café
Cucina Deli
Caputos Market/Deli
Moochis Meatballs
The line at Red Iguana will take forever. If you want to eat there--order take out and sit in a park to eat. There truly is no better Mexican food--must have the mole!

Blue Lemon at City Creek is a nice lunch spot. Fresh food and great GF options, plus a nice area to walk around.
And, unrelated to your question: I'm from Texas originally--you'll love the escape from the heat that Park City provides in the summer. I highly recommend Park City's Deer Valley Summer Music Festival. It's a family tradition and one of the highlights of our summer.

PS, I live in Park City and work in the valley. Are you just wanting to stop in the city to lunch and see a couple things, or will you be arriving hungry at lunchtime? It is only a 25 minute drive from the airport to Park City.
