Sales: shopping right after Xmas is a good choice?

My family will be taking vacations in the Orlando area this december. There are no flights to take us to our home country before Xmas, so we'll have to be there by then. Two questions arise:1) what to do for Xmas eve in Orlando if you had kids 5, 9 and 11 years old? 2)Is it worth it staying for two or three more days and do my Xmas shopping then? Are there major liquidation sales in this period?
