Planning my 1st RV trip w/family leaving Denver, Co first week in August for 7-10 days. Interested in any suggestions and guidance on where to go and what to do. Thought about heading to Wyoming, Montana and circling back through Idaho and Utah. Travelling with wife and 4 kids, ages 4, 6, 13, 15. All of whom love the outdoors. I'm trying to make the most of the time we have. Any route suggestions are also appreciated. Thanks, Hanes

You could certainly head through the mountains westward, up to the Tetons, Jackson, and Yellowstone. That might fill the days. YOu could come back via heading east to Cheyenne and down.
Our niece's family did a great trip out west and rented their RV in Denver. I can get the name if you want.
There any many possible routes, but here's 1 suggestions
Denver to Laramie the SR 130 through the Snowy Range to I-80 and then into Rollins for US 287 north to Lander and Dubois for Grand Teton Nat. Park. A couple of days there then in Yellowstone for a 2-3 more,
Next decide if you want an all day drive to Glacier Nat. Park for a couple of days before turning home. Or, spend more time in the GTNP and YNP before following the Yellowstone River to Billings and then I-90 to the Little Big Horn Battlefield site. From there you can take the diret route back to Denver or traverse the Bighorn Mountains on US 14 of 14A to US 20 which will take you to Casper for I-25 and back to Denver. And there are many varitions possible within that framework. Have fun.
