Route66

I'm an 'ol guy leaving this week alone for a motorcycle trip on route66 from Kingman, AZ to Chicago and wonder if some of you on this site can make any recommendations for must see places, things to avoid, places to stay etc. I've done a lot of research, but I'm sure I haven't covered it all. Thanks.
