Route from Port Angeles to Seattle.
Today's ferry closing from Edmonds to Kingston made me do a little research. Next Friday our Victoria Ferry arrives at Port Angeles at noon, On Friday afternoon which is the best route to Seattle? I thought via Bainbridge, but depending on which app I use, I get different recommended routes.

Bainbridge. Pro: View of Seattle skyline and, if clear, two mountain ranges. Con: Boring drive down the middle of Bainbridge Island.
Kingston. Pro: Pass through Port Gamble, one of our most charming towns. More pleasant drive. Con: You miss the above views.

Ok. Will probably do Bainbridge as originally planned.
Incidentally we were amazed at the traffic heading north out of Seattle last Saturday. It seemed to take forever, often averaging about 35 mph. And the 1 hour 45 minute wait at the border Saturday afternoon was excruciating after an already long day of travel. Surprisingly we noted there was NO line headed back into the US, a reversal of what I'm used to there.
