Hello!
A friend has suggested I look for accomodations in Roseville when I head to Minnesota later this month.
Anyone know anything about Roseville?
Is it a safe area?
Is there anything to do there?
I plan on checking out Minneapolis, St. Paul and Duluth.
Roseville, Minnesota

I used to live just east of Roseville. It's centrally located between St. Paul and Minneapolis and has good freeway access and is safe but there isn't anything very exciting there besides chain restaurants and a shopping mall. It's very suburban.
old and new SUBurban SPRAWL
AND worse yet they way they identify
their county rds up there
way out of sequence.
Almost everywhere in Minnesota is safe--forget Roseville--just an anywhere suburb--stay DT--it has walking mall street--Nicolette Ave--Nicolette ISland Inn is on an island in the Mississppi right downtown with cute little restaurants and shops near-by.
Duluth will be chillier but the PArk Point area is really fun. If you want real beauty, rent a cabin farther up the NOrth Shore of Lake Superior. Also DT Minneapolis has theatres, restaurants, is pretty lively and is a pretty safe clean beautiful city. If you stay at the Hyatt you can walk to the Guthrie theatre and will be on Nicollet Mall.
The question was for a trip in May 2004.
