Romantic NC Mtn Cabin with a View for 1-2 Nights

I'm looking for a nice little weekend getaway for my wife and I in January for our 5th anniversary. I checked a few of the postings already on here but didn't have much luck. Trying to find a cabin in western NC in the mountains with some great views. We're looking to stay 1-2 nights. Can anyone help?

Here's some ideas:
www.cabinmountainrentals.com
www.cashiersnc.com
www.northcarolinamountaincabin.com
www.cabinadventures.com
www.fontanavillage.com ** my favorite!

Some ideas for North Georgia:
www.ellijaycabins.com
www.mountainhomesitters.com
www.blueskycabinrentals.com
www.georgiasanctuary.com
www.ticabins.com
www.mountaintopcabinrentals.com

You could also search the website of the Chamber of Commerce of Highlands, NC for some help as well. Lots of B & B's in that area also.

BWBlakely, great list and since you included Georgia, here is a link to a wonderful log cabin in Ellijay. We stayed there two times http://www.vrbo.com/99652

It may be helpful to know what part of the Mts. that you intend to stay in. That being said, we use www.vrbo.com for nearly all of our Mt. stays.

If you're just looking for some peace and quiet with few resort-type amenities, this is a good choice:

http://www.powderhornrentals.com/det...e=search&id=27

It's brand new, located in a quiet, gated, wooded mtn community about 25 minute drive to Boone and 40 to Blowing Rock. The Parkway is about 20 minutes away.

Little to do there other than hang out or hike on the trails, but that may be just what you're looking for.
