Romantic Dinner in Seattle
My husband & I will be visiting Seattle on our anniversary (28!) and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a wonderful, romantic restaurant? It's our first time in town, we're combining business & pleasure and want to splurge! Anything else you can recommend for a special evening?

My husband and I eat out a lot here and we consider these places to be nice and romantic:
Campagne- French near Pike Place market
Lark- Capital Hill, no resevations- dishes for sharing
Union- not cozy romantic but beautiful and possibly the best food in the city
Cascadia- gorgeous food and atmoshphere
Rovers- pull out all the stops French and expensive, Madison Park
Canlis- see above but it's not French, views of Lake Union, on Queen Anne
Le Gourmand- Ballard, old school French and cozy
Mistral- haven't eaten here yet but hear the food is divine and I've seen the gorgeous interior
Waterfront- large seafood restaurant on the Pier but gorgeous views and tuxedo'ed waiters.

You can't go wrong with any of stormygirl's suggestions. My top picks on her list are Canlis and Waterfront, which both have great views for first-time visitors to Seattle.
The last time we twitched with delight while being seated at a Seattle restaurant, was at the Georgian Room in the Fairmont Olympic Hotel.
