Hi All - I'm looking for recommendations for a historic inn or bed and breakfast in the Hudson Valley, preferably somewhere close to Beacon. We will only be there for one night, but are looking for something special. I've found the following places so far, but any other suggestions would be appreciated. Inn at Twaalfskill, Caldwell House, and Botsford Briar. Thanks!

Sorry, I thought I had selected the NY Tag and don't know how to edit the selection.
Two options to consider are the Beekman Arms in Rhinebeck and the Hudson House in Cold Spring.
Cold Spring (15min) is a lot closer to Beacon than Rhinebeck (40min or so depending on the time of day).
I've looked at the Beekman Arms in the past and it is beautiful, but unfortunately too far away from Beacon for our purposes. What were your impressions of Hudson House?
Haven't seen the rooms at Hudson House, but the location is stunning--right in the most fiord-like part of the Hudson River.
I don't know much about the Hudson House, besides the location (stunning) and the restaurant (excellent).
Thanks - I forgot to mention that we were looking for a place with a good restaurant so Hudson House is a definite possibility now.
