Road trip San Francisco to Chicago
My husband and I are planning to leave soon on a road trip from the San Francisco Bay Area to Chicago. We would like to take about 7 days to get there.
Last year we took the 10 and 40 to the Southwest and the 80 to the Rockies. Later this summer we plan on taking the 90 to Glacier NP.
What other interesting routes can we take other than what we have already done?
We enjoy national parks, scenic areas, city walks/tours. Possibly taking our road bikes so long bike paths would be of interest. Some museums and botanical gardens, birding. Possibly scenic camp areas. Not much into food or drinking.
