We always eat at the Voodoo Cafe on the top floor of the Rio when in town. Great cajun/creole food and the view of the strip can't be beat. You could start off with a drink at the Voodoo Lounge, large variety of specialty but pricey drinks with the same view of the strip. Sit outside to really soak up the atmosphere.
We also like the Wine Cellar at the Rio to try a few different wines/champagnes and you are served cheese, crackers and strawberries as well.
The Rio has many good restaurants. Enjoy.

We were there last week to see Tony & Tina's wedding; right next to it was a seafood/prime rib buffet with a line to get in. Don't know if it was the price or the food that was the draw, but whatever the reason, it looked like you had to get there early to avoid the big line.

Forgot to mention the All American Bar and Grill for zucchini sticks, chicken wings and potato skins with a cold ,tall beer! Second Scarletts' recommendation for Buzio's!

The Rio may have the best seafood buffet in Las Vegas. Starve yourself before going there.

Definitely Rosemary's. It's in the corner, above the buffet on the 2nd floor (up the winding staircase). You'll love it! It was an exceptional experience - from the food to the well choreographed service. Don't walk to this place, run!
