Richmond Hill Inn in Asheville destroyed by fire
Yesterday, Asheville's historic Richmond Hill Inn was mostly destroyed by fire. Quite sad, it was a lovely place with wonderful restaurants.

Having had a dinner there, I'm sad to read about this, but I have to admit it set me wondering about the statistics of major fires happening at the same time as foreclosures.

Sounds like the owner (who was in forclosure) torched the place.

What a shame. We used to have meetings there.

It sounds like they are able to continue business. I bet the original owners are just sick about all of this.

Oh, my goodness. Just seeing this and had not seen it in the paper. That is awful.
