We're traveling to the Boulder area over the Fourth and will be taking a drive on part of the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway at some point (http://www.byways.org/explore/byways/2114/travel.html ) -- from Boulder to around Nederland, down to Golden and then up to Boulder. Can you recommend a good/scenic restaurant along the way to stop for lunch? We're taking the drive on a weekday and are 40-something professional women who would not mind having a nice glass of wine with lunch. Thanks!

Trip Ideas
This idea may not work for you, because they are not open for lunch and it's not exactly on the Peak-to-Peak. But it could work, if you're interested in dinner on your way back to Boulder. It's a very unique place. The six-course dinner is now $33. That's pretty unbelievable:

Try the Dunraven Inn or the Meaadow Mountain Cafe near Allenspark. Google for more information.
