We'll be at a cottage in Mountain this summer and were hoping someone could suggest a supper club or place to eat with nice northwoods atmosphere and good food. A good place for a perch plate possibly. I've gotten a list from the area visitor's center and these were listed: Club 32, Firelite Lounge, Hillcrest Lodge, Markuby's, Mulligan's, and Maiden Lake Supper Club. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Sue

Try the Wolf River Lodge at Langlade.
By far, the best is Maiden Lake Supper Club. Amazing food and they have a beautiful large deck on the lake. We go there every chance we get. For something more casual (great for lunches... amazing soups), the Rawhide bar (right on Hwy. 32 between Mountain and Lakewood) is really good. Looks like a rinky dink bar, but the food is really good. The Firelite I've never eaten at, but they have live music Saturday nights which is usually a lot of fun. I will tell you to NOT go to the Waubee Lodge. Terrible service and not-so great food.
Have fun!
