Restaurants in Morgantown, WV

We're going to be on holiday in Morgantown, WV for a few days in May. We're staying at the Waterfront Place Hotel in the Wharf District.

Can anyone recommend restaurants for dinner? Price isn't a big factor, as long as the food and atmosphere are good.

Thanks.

I don't remember the name of it, but we enjoyed eating on the patio of a restaurant there last year. As I recall, one could enter from the street, although we entered from the riverwalk side (the walk being separated from the patio by a 3' iron fence). As one faced the river from the street, there was a riverside park with parking, and this restaurant was to the left of it perhaps 200'. Its food and atmosphere was recommendable.

Oliverio's Ristorante. It is in the Wharf district so you can walk to it. Great Italian food and good atmosphere. I prefer to sit outside if weather permits. Be sure to get some Zucchini Slices - they are wonderful.

Back Bay Restaurant has good seafood - nothing fancy about the place (needs a good remodeling) but very good food.
1869 Mileground Rd.

CJ Maggies also has realy good food - I dream about the Augusta Portabella sandwich. http://www.cj-maggies.com/

While in WV, stop at a grocery store (Krogers) and pick up some Oliverio Peppers to take home with you for sausage sandwiches, etc. They are to die for. They are sold throughout WV, don't know about out of state.

Thanks for the info. Oliverno's looks great, as does Maggies. I think we'll try them both.
