I am heading to the Reds game in Cincinnati on 7/3/09 with my wife and kids. We recently moved back to the area. We are familiar with the the N. Kentucky restaurants but we are looking for someplace where we gan get dinner before the game and park in downtown Cincinnatio and walk to the game.
Any suggestions on where to eat in downtown Cincinnati before the game?

Not sure about parking except they usually have a flat charge for parking under Fountain Square for reds games.
Also, restaurants -- what kind of place are you looking for. There are quite a few. Rock Bottom Brewery comes to mind first if you're looking for casual. (it's right on Fountain Square) http://www.rockbottom.com/DisplayLocationRBR.php?FKLocationID=10062
I'm going to the game tomorrow night too,I usually park at Newport On The Levee, eat there, then take a cab to the game, they drop you off right in front of the gate. What kind of restaurant are you looking for?
There is actually a restaurant at the ball park on the left field line. I'd just head there, have a bite & watch batting practice. You can sit outside or inside (depending on the weather). Machine Room Grille is the name I believe, it is a brewpub type joint named after the Big Red Machine. There is also a Palominos & Izzy's deli which is excellent.
