Restaurant by the Art Institute Chicago

This is rather last minute but we would like to meet a few people (all moms and 20 something daughters) at a restaurant a short distance from the Art Institute tomorrow night. We are meeting for dinner but the museum is free tomorrow night from 5-9--would like to meet everyone somewhere close by.

As I look at the map, I am thinking that the Atwood Cafe or Trattoria #10 may be close. Maybe Frontera Grill.

Thanks in advance for any last minute suggestions.

The Atwood Cafe is a very nice place and a good location, a few blocks from the Art Institute. Frontera Grill is outstanding, but expect to wait 2 hours for a table and it's a little bit further from the museum.
There is a Bennigan's right across the street, but don't know if that would suit your needs. Check to see if the restaurant at the Art Institute is open for dinner, it has a lovely courtyard for outdoor dining.

Rhapsody or Russian Tea Time would also be close. Frontera isn't all that close.

Just thought of another one,
The Park Grill at Millenium Park would be a good choice...it's right next to the museum.

We've really enjoyed the Atwood several times. You can reserve on their website.

We also enjoyed a very nice lunch at Rhapsody. You can reserve with OpenTable.

FYI, you can now make same day reservations for Frontera. And if you go early, the wait is not long at all. In fact, if you go before six, there's often no wait at all.
