restaurant at airport

We are meeting family between flights at PHL airport, either terminal D or E. Are there any decent restaurants OUTSIDE of security? Our guests won't have flight tickets so can't pass through security. Thanks for any suggestions.

Airports usually don't have restaurants outside security.

Your friends can go to the ticket counter on the airline you are flying on and get passes to get through security.

They'll need your flight information.

Here's a start -
http://www.phl.org/food_shops.html

If you click on the link on that page, you will see all the restaurant options. It seems like there's a section outside of security. You could call one to verify.

But, if the guests can get a pass to get through security that would be less stress. I'd hate to work about the line to get back through security to be sure I'd make my connection.

Of course there's a restaurant outside security. Just have your family meet you in the lobby of the Marriot which is attached to the airport. You can then go to the restaurant there. It's at terminal B, we've done it before.

There is a Lamberti's just outside of security at Terminal D. Food is pretty good.
