Resort two-hour drive from Nashville

Jump to last reply

Any suggestions for a get away that is only about a two-hour drive from Nashville? We're looking for a nice place for a family (ages 16-77) vacation in October. (We've been to Chattanooga.) Resorts that have some planned activities would be ideal.

I've looked into Asheville, Braswell, Shaker Village, and Serenbe they seem wonderful, in different ways. However, it seems silly to drive 4 hours for a two-night/I.5 day trip. Caves such as Mammoth, would be hard for some in our party to navigate,

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
