renting a house in Maui

We are trying to find a nice house to rent in Maui for a week in August but have no idea where to start. It needs to house 4 to eight people. Any guidance about where to look (websites, etc.) would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

For starters, try typing "Maui vacation rentals" into Google.
www.google.com
or try
www.vrbo.com
Those will keep you busy for awhile.

Here is one possibility:

Good luck! Maggi

Here's a great one right on Front Street in Lahaina within minutes walking to Baby Beach, Front Street shopping & eating, and the Cannery Mall.

Thanks for the help! I now have more info about what I am looking for (in case you know of anything or have any ideas): We need a house with four bedrooms that is on the beach or very close to the beach.

Thank you!
Laura

Just a side note, if air conditioning is a must-have, be sure to ask specifically where the air conditioning is located in the home. My SIL rented a pricey home for 9 she thought to be air conditioned as mentioned in the advertisement, only to find out the actual air conditioning was in the bathroom! Made for a very warm stay.

NOLaura: Email margit at [email protected] and tell her what you need and your price range. She has the most complete listings of anyone on the island, including some exclusives that she handles.
