Renting a house in Carmel
My friends and I are attending a wedding in June in Carmel. Since there are so many of us (4 couples) we were thinking of renting a house or a villa. Ive done some research on the area but all I can find are small inns and a few hotels. I dont seem to find anything on villas or weekend rentals. Can anyone help??? Thank you in advance

We find house rentals on VRBO. Just be aware that within Carmel city limits there's an ordinance prohibiting rentals of less than 30 days http://ci.carmel.ca.us/carmel/index....-rental-rules/ That doesn't mean a lot of owners don't do it anyway.
Here's a map showing the city boundaries http://ci.carmel.ca.us/carmel/index....es/zoning-map/ Basically the northern section, southern section and anything on the east side of Hwy 1 is outside of city limits.

Oh and a small strip of area just west of Hwy 1. This house for example looks like it may be outside of city limits based on their map but I would confirm with the owner http://www.vrbo.com/294760
