My friends and I are attending a wedding in June in Carmel. Since there are so many of us (4 couples) we were thinking of renting a house or a villa. Ive done some research on the area but all I can find are small inns and a few hotels. I dont seem to find anything on villas or weekend rentals. Can anyone help??? Thank you in advance

We find house rentals on VRBO. Just be aware that within Carmel city limits there's an ordinance prohibiting rentals of less than 30 days http://ci.carmel.ca.us/carmel/index....-rental-rules/ That doesn't mean a lot of owners don't do it anyway.

Here's a map showing the city boundaries http://ci.carmel.ca.us/carmel/index....es/zoning-map/ Basically the northern section, southern section and anything on the east side of Hwy 1 is outside of city limits.

So true janis, indeed houses that size in the Carmel vicinity are very often listed with management companies.

OP Here is a management co. that has large rentals in Carmel. Be forewarned these are not inexpensive.
