For the past few yrs I've been lucky getting a vehicle through Priceline and this year, not so lucky. Has anyone been getting a good price lately?

What is a good price for you? We had $220 for the week of 4/6.
Does that include taxes - what kind of car was that? Last yr I paid $20 for convertible
I just got back and my best deal I managed was $207 for a mid-size for 6 days. You can no longer compare your old bids with new ones. The Airport facility tax has dramatically increased the cost of renting. BTW the 207 was what I paid, the best price I saw on Hotwire (after purchasing) was a mid size for $35 cheaper than what I paid.
baddeck-it was total $ and was enterprise, booked a few months back, it was for chevy impala or dodge charger can't remember as had to cancel because it closed at 10 and flight is coming in at 9:30 didn't want to cut it that close. So we have #261 for the week with thrifty for full size.
Just checked hotwire $196 for wild card, midsize or higher for the time will be there, but I can't change in case it is a company that closes at 10pm, I really want that extra hour in case we are a little late, if a lot late I guess it will be an expensive taxi ride back and forth.
thanks baddeck-you made me check thrifty again and I got the same full size for $205 total, depends on when you go, book and keep checking for a lower rate.
