Is the Renaissance Hotel at 515 Madison St in Seattle in a good location for walking?
We want to see Pike Place Market, Space Needle, take a ferry to Bainbridge and see the waterfront.
Thanks
Renaissance Hotel, Seattle

The hotel is about a mile from Pike Place Market and less far to the ferry terminal for Bainbridge Island. Much of the walk is uphill.
The Warwick, which has a better location on flatter ground, often has good rates.
HTTY
As HTTY says, the Renaissance is at the top of one of the steeper hills downtown. It also faces a rather noisy part of Interstate 5. If you have other alternatives, I'd look closely at them.
Whoops.
As a flatlander from the Midwest, I tend to forget about the hills in Seattle.
We did a Priceline with the Renaissance so we are tied to that. Guess we will get our exercise, maybe that will offset all of the good food we hope to find.
Thanks to both of you.
