Relaxing Honeymoon Week

Hello!

My fiance and I are from Toronto and we want to have a mini relaxing honeymoon right after the wedding in June 2015. Because we will only have 5-6 days at most, we would like to stick to Canadian and US destinations. We are looking for a romantic place to stay, urban (like an old b&b) or rural with beautiful nature (cabin in the woods or seaside inn). In August 2013, we went on a road trip Toronto - Washington, DC - Cape Hatteras, NC. We stayed at Seaside Inn at Hatteras and it was a perfect place with super cozy and rustic atmosphere. Have anybody been to such a place that left them with lasting memories?

We found coastal Maine and coastal Oregon to be quite romantic. San Francisco and points north and south of the city are also nice. Charleston and Savannah come to mind as well. I really like Boston, too, I think you can find "romantic" accommodations in all of those places.

Have you considered the Eastern provinces. Very romantic.

Just ride down to the Finger Lakes in NY... Geneva on the Lake, Skaneatlas, Watkins Glen... plenty of charm, Nature, old Inns and Hotels and plenty of Wineries...

Also consider Niagara on the Lake for the Charm, Wineries, great Food and Shaw Festival...

All of this is just a short drive away...

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...ew_Jersey.html

this place has had 131 reviews. Please note how many gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

I'm not sure if your budget will allow, but consider Manoir Hovey in the Eastern townships. this is a very special place, we had a marvelous anniversary weekend there.
