Rehoboth Beach is very much a family town so you really can't go wrong if you're taking kids. Try Brighton Suites (about a block/and a half from the beach. It has a indoor pool if it rains. Closer to beach I would say try Oceanus Motel, Atlantic Sands, Boardwalk Plaza Hotel. The kids would love (and adults too!!) Grotto Pizza, and Funland. Funland has very cheap rides!! It's always on our to-do list.. Have fun

I have stayed at the Brighton Suites many times. It is in a convenient location a "long" block from the beach. The hotel is one block off of Rehoboth Ave. The last time I sayed there I thought the place looked "tired" and in need of refurbishing. A big benefit is small fridge and a microwave in the suite.
The Atlantic Sands is right on the beach. Personally, I prefer the original rooms( not the addition). The rooms are bigger and the ventilation is better.
I agree with Kris that the Boardwalk is very expensive.
A 2 and 5 year old will love the Funhouse. Many of the rides are geared to the preschool set.
Rehoboth is VERY family friendly. We have gone from taking our kids there to renting a beachhouse for our kids and grandchildren.
