Rehoboth Beach off season recs?

We are looking for recommendations for 4 adults - we would like to rent a condo/house for the weekend or get two hotel rooms for the punkin' chunkin' weekend. Do any of you have any favorite places to stay in Rehoboth Beach that you can recommend?
Thanks!

Amy:

In summer paid high prices @ Rehoboth through Prudential rentals. However, do a search over internet for Rehoboth Beach Chamber of Commerce and then get info on Prudential - they slash prices in half in the cooler months. I personally liked staying in a house better than a hotel room.

I've looked at the chamber of commerce stuff, but its hard to judge from the web sites which is good v. bad. I'll check on the Prudential rentals.

You can't go wrong with the Prudential rentals. We use them on season and off. Tell them exactly what you want in terms of quality, space, price, location. Have you been to Rehoboth? If not, write back for some ideas from my personal experience if you want...

I've been but its been a few years. I've never had to look for a place to stay b/c my friend's family had a house there (soooo lucky, I know!). What's a good place for dinner these days? (Not a chain on Rte. 1 please). Thanks! Amy

Called Prudential - 3 night minimum. We're only looking for 2 nights? Any other recommendations? Anyone ever stay at the Corner Cupboard Inn? I only ask because it is near where we used to stay, but we never checked it out when we were there. Thanks again -

If you can't get a house, I'd rather stay near the ocean. A good, basic hotel: Atlantic Sands; expensive hotel: Boardwalk Plaza. You might do a search for the "Henlopen Condominiums" which are also on the ocean and have 2 BR and probably do weekends. You can find any of these on Google. For dinner: Gotta go to Jake's Seafood, in town. Can I go with you?!
