Recs for 30th Anniversary on a Penny

I have promised my parents a 2-3 day stay at a New England B&B this August for their 30th anniversary. I've budgeted about $400. Airlines are already taken care of. Is it possible AT ALL to get a nice B&B in New England for $300-ish? Everything I've seen that looks romantic starts at like $175/night.
I've been looking mostly in the Providence/eastside of Rhode Island area. I'm not interested in Martha's Vineyard or Cape Cod, unless someone knows some incredible secret. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd be looking for a B&B with private baths, and preferably, at least one ground room floor.
