Can someone please tell me what are the minimum/recommended car insurance coverages for Ohio? Our son is studying in the Cleveland State University and is moving the extra car there . Our TX policy will not cover him there even though this car belongs to us. He is planning to register the car in OH and has already got an OH driver's license. Thanks for your help.

Liability is the minimum, however depending on the value of the car, collision may be recommended.

Remember to buy his insurance BEFORE he starts driving to Ohio.
If you do decide to get collision insurance (ie, insurance against this car being totaled in a wreck) get as high a deductible as you can afford. If you lower your premiums for a few years, then you may come out ahead even if you do end up paying the full deductible out of pocket. This is particularly true if you are a good driver.
Thank you both!

The AIG insurance is really good and Eric insurance too...and their rates are lower than most, plus they give you a no increase in price guarantee, so the price will not go up every year. carinsurancereviews.net
