We will be in the St. Paul area Aug 5-8. Some of our time will be spent in a conference, but I thought it would be fun for my adult daughter and I to go to a spa type place...maybe for new hair do, make up and nails done. We've never done anything like this. Does anyone have ideas where we might go?
Also any ideas for good restaurants that are reasonable priced that are not chains??? Thanks a lot!

Brenda, sorry so posting so late. I'm not a spa type of guy but as for food it depends where you are staying and if you have transportation. Downtown thee are a couple of french restaurants that are very nice, Heartland and Meritage. The St. Paul Grill is very good and really there is a ton of good establishments. Enjoy, ziggypop
