Rate drop for Grand Wailea!
Just got a rate of $315. per night for a terrace double queen room for June. This is the "Akamai" rate on their website. This is the lowest rate I've seen in quite awhile and thought I'd share...

Crazy: What part of June did you get that for? I am assuming you got that through their website, and not from calling their reservations line. Wow, that is a really great rate. We are going to Maui and Oahu in August, and I would love to get that rate for August, but I bet I won't because it's the high season....

Nope, you're right. The website won't give me any rates for August. I think they only release dates to their website about 6 months in advance. BUT if you call and ask for the current Akamai rate for your preferred dates, I would be surprised if they do not give it to you!

Thanks, Crazy!
The website won't give me any rates for August, you're right. Last time I called, it was $395 for a Terrace King in August. I will try again, but I have a feeling it won't be the great rate of $315 you got! The rates in July on the website say $395, too.
