The Ramada Miami Beach is not nice-- it's another example of the bad properties in the Ramada chain. Hideous guest rooms, worn-out and crummy and barely clean enough. The public areas are pretty gross as well.
What are you looking for? Just a place to crash, or do you want to do something that evening? I'd look down in South Beach (this property is well north of there)-- maybe a place like the Winterhaven or even the Marriott would do. At least you'd have some good places to stroll (and eat and party).

Thanks for the info ,thats kind of what I thought with The Ramada.
Since we probably won't be getting in till 3:00 PM I don't want to pay a fourtune just to sleep. Now leaning to the Holiday Inn Marina Park or The Ocean Surf looked like a neat place.Would really like to be withen walking dis. to good eating places!!
Thanks Mike

I don't know if either of the alternatives is within walking distance of anything. The Ocean Surf is in a very quiet part of north Miami Beach, I do know that.
I would urge you to check at the Winterhaven. Its location is far preferable to anything you've asked about so far.
