For everyone who is looking at tickets for this - also consider the Nutcracker at Lincoln Center. It's just as seasonal, always lovely - and a great introduction to the dance for kids.

This is so funny because I was looking at this earlier. I've never been. I was also going to start a post asking when the NYE confetti test is. I've always missed it and would much rather go on the day of the test than on NYE.

I'm not aware that there is a confetti test for New Year's Eve. they do a rehearsal of the ball drop (I believe earlier in the day) to make sure it won;t get stuck. But as for confetti - all it can do is fall. And no one wants to clear it up twice.

I have gone for the ball drop rehearsal which is always on the 30th but would like to try the confetti test. I think it's the day before the ball rehearsal.
