We (husband, wife and 15 year old daughter) are taking a quick trip next week from Wisconsin to Kentucky. We are staying 2 nights in the cabins at Mammoth Cave ( we stayed there years ago, rustic but clean and reasonable). We have signed up for the Snowball tour. Thought it would be fun to eat underground.
Anyone have any other ideas for fun stuff to do. I know about the little boat ride on Miss Green River. Enjoy looking at wildlife but I am afraid of snakes!!! Any ideas?
Thinking about driving down to South Union to see the Shaker Village. Seems last time I went to Mammoth Cave there was a town close by with tons of antique stores. Can anyone tell me the name?
Thanks

The National Corvette Museum is in Bowling Green.

You can also tour the Corvette Plant Monday through Friday.
When I was little my parents took me a couple of times to Beech Bend Park (also in Bowling Green). I remember it as a wonderful place. Sort of an amusement/water park with go-carts.
I am sorry but I don't know about the town with antique stores.
