Quick question re: SF local station weather forecasts
This might rank up there in the dumb question forecast, but here goes....
I've been looking at some of the local station forecasts for our upcoming trip.
Two of the stations list 3 different high temps - inland, bay, and coast. Obviously downtown SF isn't inland, but are the downtown/Union Square temps consistent with the coast forecasts, or the bay forecasts?
Thanks,
H

You should be able to get weather for downtown SF. This time of year, the temps & fog are pretty much consistent throughout the City. In July & Aug, there could be a 10 degree difference between the Mission (for example), and out in the Sunset or Richmond districts (near the ocean). It could be sunny in the Mission & "fog city" closer to the ocean.

when you come to s.f., always dress in layers.
you never know when the gorgeous weather is going to turn and the fog roll in.
the tourists are always the easiest to spot with the shorts and the fisherman's wharf hastily bought sweatshirts!

Because you'll likely be visiting different parts of the city - check out both "Bay" and "Coast" weather reports.
"Inland" will apply if you are going places like Napa, or Livermore, or Gilroy, or the Sacramento Valley

Thanks everyone for your replies. I wasn't familiar with the format - just one temp here in nowheresville!
Off topic, but I'm very excited for this trip. I've saved several posts to pdf and put them on my phone, including Stu's excellent suggestions.
We arrive tomorrow evening - YEAH!!
