There is a Boston Sports Museum exhibit at Foxwoods through February 24. I wanted to post this to let other people here know about it if interested. Its in the great Cedar Casino Exhibition Hall. Well worth the $15 entrance fee. I spent about 2 hours going through it. Its got a different room for the different Boston Sports Teams. Videos running in each one. Worth the time if you are a Boston Sports fan. If you are a sports fan in general, you would also enjoy it.
After the museum, we played the Slots for a little while and I won $200. I went back to the Exhibit and bought a picture that I liked. "The Boys of Beantown'. It has Tyler Seguin from the Bruins, Tom Brady, Rajon Rondo and Dustin Pedroia on it. Hung it on my wall this morning.
Then we just walked through the casino and barhopped. Started at the Atrium Lounge then to the Hard Rock Cafe for a few.
Spent about 5 hours at Foxwoods and that was enough. Still a fun day.

My first trip to Foxwoods, and from what I could see, the MGM Grand was by far the better hotel to stay
Please note the Mashantucket Pequots who own Foxwoods are the first Native American Tribe to go bankrupt owning a casino. They, of course, did not declare formal bankruptcy otherwise they would lose some of their soverign immunity but that is reason they brought in MGM. Tribes hate to cede control to any non-tribal entity.
The Chairman at that time once did hard time in Rhode Island for drug possession and the original money for the casino came from dubious sources in Malaysia.
Foxwoods is in Connecticut, MGM Grand is in Las Vegas - what are you talking about?
Deb, there is a MGM Grand next to Foxwoods now under the same management.
Lol! Who knew?
