Pueblo's near Santa Fe

I am familiar with the Taos Pueblo - which of the others would you reccomend if you only had enough time to visit one of them??
Thanks,

It is a drive, 2 hours, but Acoma is the best one to see.

I agree about Acoma, a fascinating place and experience. But if you go for any reason up toward Las Alamos, it would be interesting by contrast to stop in at San Ildefonso, which is extremely low key. I wouldn't do SI unless I were also doing Taos or Acoma, though.

Acoma. You drive up the mesa with an indian guide in a small bus, visit the village and then you can choose to return in the bus or through a secret hole in the rock and return on foot.Paul

One of the things I loved at Acoma was the Tiwa guide dissing on the treacheries of their traditional enemies, the Apache and the Navajo. It's just like the Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks, no forgiveness for things that happened 400 years ago!

Just loved Acoma (the Indian fry bread was delicious) but also enjoyed San Ildefonso as well.
