We are 4 ladies landing at Seatac and needing to go to Sheraton Seattle / 6th ave.
What is an economical and convenient way to do this? Are there Suv taxi's that 4 of us could fit into with luggage. This would mean we could cut the cost 4 ways. Read about Light Rail, but not sure about where to pick it up and where we would end up. any suggestions

You'll end up under Nordstrom, which is two or three blocks from the Sheraton. We take a taxi.

This is the shuttle we used...we stayed at the Westin..
Driver handled luggage...we did let people off at 3 other hotels before we arrived at ours. Cost $10 a person--plus tip---this was several years ago..can't remember if we made reservations???
Downtown Airporter
(855) 566-3300
Downtown Airporter picks up and drops off passengers at the inner drive curb on the third floor of the Airport Garage. It departs twice an hour from 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., with service to and from major downtown Seattle hotels: Madison Renaissance, Crowne Plaza, Fairmont Olympic, Hilton Hotel, Seattle Sheraton, Grand Hyatt, Westin Hotel and Warwick Hotel.
Downtown Airporter is a good shuttle suggestion. Or with 4 people splitting the cost of a taxi would be about the same price.
You could do Light Rail, which is about a 10 mins. walk from the terminal at SeaTac, a 40 min. ride into downtown for $2.75, and (as mentioned above) drops you at Westlake Center which is just a couple blocks from your hotel. So depending the size and amount of luggage this might or might not work for you.
thanks everyone. I'll look into the Downtown airporter. Does anyone know if they have suv or minivan taxis.

I should have added that after dealing with airport security, two (or more) airports, and an uncomfortable flight (or flights), the difference between the cost of a van and a taxi is a small price to pay for a little comfort and convenience. The difference between the cost of a van and a taxi is usually an infinitesimal percentage of the rest of the cost of a trip.

Yellow Cab is who has the airport concession these days. You can call them and ask about vans vs cars. 206-622-6500.
