Pub with food in Seattle
My husband and I will be in Seattle for half a day in August. We will probably try to visit Pike Place market and the Space Needle area and would love a recommendation for a good casual pub for dinner.

There are a lot of places that would work for you, especially if you're not going to limit yourself to right around the Space Needle.
In vicinity of Space Needle, you'll find McMenamin's (Lower Queen Anne) which has mediocre beer and food.
If you're closer to Pike Place Market, there's Pike Brewing in the market that has better beer and better food.
If you're willing to expand a bit (download the Uber app for your phone and get a credit to help with transport), then I would recommend:
* Elyisan Brewing (Capitol Hill or Pioneer Square)
* Brouwers (in Fremont - great Belgian food and beer)
* Naked City Brewery (in Greenwood)
* Pine Box Bar (Capitol Hill - beer bar with good food)

There are also some very nice happy hours. Palomino and Il Fornaio do it right, and I'm sure there are many others. (Palimino's happy hour is from 3:00 p.m. until closing. They used to validate "after 5" parking, and I suppose the still do.)
