Providence,RI - restaurant and Waterfire advice

Jump to last reply

We'll be coming to Providence next weekend and will be staying at the Providence Downtown Marriott on Saturday night. Is the hotel an easy (and safe) walk to the Waterfire display? Also, are there any moderately priced restaurants within a short walk of the hotel? We're pretty flexible as to whether it's American, Mediterranian, Italian, etc.
Are there any other attractions within a reasonable walking distance from the hotel? Also, the hotel has a shuttle service available within a one mile radius.

Thanks,
Mrace
