Providence: Why no Waterfire in July?

Jump to last reply

I was just checking the Waterfire Schedule for this summer, and noticed that there are no full or partial lightings scheduled for the entire month of July. Of course, that is when we will be in the area.

Does anybody know why? Are they working on the canal at that time? Do they not have sponsors? Might there be July events announced later in June? I lived & worked in Providence for a couple of years and was really looking forward to getting back there and checking this out. :(
