Providence (RI) and Cape Cod for 7 Days

Jump to last reply

Hello Everyone, we'll be in Philadelphia for a week (I'm in a conference while hubby with our 1 year old twins visit the city) in end of June, beginning of July). We're thinking of going to Providence for 2 nights and Cape Cod the rest of the time (Sunday to Sunday). My question is two fold: what to do and where to stay in Providence and the second is the same for Cape Cod. For the latter, we would love to rent a house (3 or 4 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms if they are large rooms - we have friends meeting us there to sdhare the house). It would be great if the house is on the beach! Any recommendations? We love the outdoors, hiking, etc. We love little kitche towns, nice restaurants (that is happy to have kids there) and any must sees in the area. We LOVE seafood (where to eat great clams but not too expensive - maybe a roadside hole in the wall restaurants/shack?).

If you can also recommend must sees in Providence? The boys do OK in museums too and we love going to them.

If anyone also knows of stuff to do with (win 1 year old boys during the day (they are very well behaved), please chime in too! Many thanks again!
Thanks everyone!
