Does anyone have a phone number for an actual human being at Priceline?
I've had a family emergency arise and I'm desperate. Help!

I found a phone number at their contact us page. Not sure who you'll be able to talk to though.
http://www.priceline.com/customerservice/faq/Contact_Us.asp
It's right on their web site: 1-800-774-2354. But if you didn't purchase trip insurance, don't expect much sympathy if you're trying to cancel out of your reservation.
I'm sorry for your family emergency, Go, but I wouldn't expect much from Priceline either. One of my parents passed away the day before I was due to leave on a Priceline-purchased trip to Vegas. "Sorry, but tough cookies" was the answer. Interestingly enough, I did call United (the carrier assigned by Priceline) and they offered me a future flight.
To follow up, my stepdaughter had emergency surgery last night and a trip must be cancelled.
Priceline has a one time refund for $25 per night but a refund is not what I am in search of. I am traveling off peak and was hoping the hotel would transfer the nights to another off peak time.
When I called to hotel, they told me I must speak with Priceline. Of course it is easier getting the security code for our nuclear arms than finding an actual person at priceline.
I do not expect priceline to do anything because it is non-transferable and non-cancelable but it never hurts to try.
If anyone has ever found a number that isn't listed on the website and can share, I would be most grateful.
You can try 203-299-8000, hopefully it's not the same as the 800 #. Press #2 at the first menu to reach customer service.
To GoTravel:
I have no advice for Priceline, but here's hoping your stepdaughter makes a speedy recovery!
I too send best wishes & prayers to the whole family for a speedy recovery.
GoTravel, just wanted to say that I hope things are going well for your stepdaughter, and that you are getting things sorted out to your satisfaction, as far as your planned trip is concerned!
