Can anyone suggest a good area to bid on Priceline in Green Bay, WI or GB area, for a nice 3* (perhaps 2.5* or 2* at lowest) that is in a safe and easy area for driving. Would be meeting friends there for a nice relaxing visit at motel. Would be going out for dinner, etc. What hotels/motels have you won on Priceline? I have already checked out the Bidding for Travel site.

Anyone have any motel recommendations, even if not Priceline?
I always like the Best Western Midway Hotel in Green Bay. I have not been there in several years however. Located within walking distance of Lambeau Field, very easy area to access.
The Paper Valley Inn in Appleton has a very good reputation. About 30 mins South of Green Bay.
Green Bay is basically a small town; very navigable. There's a 'beltway'' system of interstates that rings the city of GB and surrounding.
So I wouldn't worry about concentrating on a particular area.
However, it is a difficult place to score with Priceline and you might be surprised that you'll have to bid more than in a larger metropolitan area (say, Chicago) with a lot more room stock.
We've stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn there - quite nice. I would not recommend you go below 2.5. A 2* gets you something like a Fairfield Inn, just not 'nice enough' for my taste.
