Post Ranch Inn! No Comparison, totally different. If you can afford, Post Ranch Inn is THE BEST!

quite frankly, as I just searched Post Ranch Inn for myself, I am surprised at this thread. Why Post Ranch Inn? Have any of you actually been there? If so, how about some first hand information about the place? I am looking for something substantive. So far, this thread is not worthy of Fodors.

Is PRI crammed with honeymooners and romantic weekenders? If someone went on their own would they be a pariah?

Is the food really spectacular at the restaurant? Is it worth the premium...other than the views. There are other places affording similar views. I would like to know. Seriously. If PRI is worth saying it is totally different. Can anyone actually say why? LMF

LilMsFoodie,

Wow! You need an attitude adjustment. Just the kind you'd get by staying at The Post Ranch Inn for a few days. Actually, you'd probably hate it, so don't go there.

And yes, I have stayed there several times, have posted about it, written reviews about it and have even posted pictures.

curiously your linked post didn't come up on my search. Not sure why. I just think that "me too" posts like this are worthless. No offense intended.

What help was this thread to the person asking the question. Now that your link is here, perhaps they might find out why you liked it. I am disposed to like the place and you know nothing about me at all.

My response to the OP was as complete and detailed as her/his inquiry. Maybe that is all they were looking for.I am more apt to answer a detailed inquiry with a detailed response, unless of course the person asking is rude.

I agree with Bill. The OP asked in a way that compells a one or the other response. There was no request for details or reasons. Looked like a vote to me.

Hi Bill, Loved your photos, you are welcome to view mine at webshots, mrskbg. I admire the Post Family for sharing their extraordinary land, If mine, I don't know if I could be so generous. Did you know, the genius of Micky Muennig, only one tree was lost during construction. Micky's love for the land really shows in the way the dwellings almost disappear, and I'm always amazed how spacious the units feel. I still can not have a favorite, each is a pleasure in it's own way and I'm thrilled to be there, where ever they place me. Wish we were there right now!

I don't understand the need for lectures on what other people posts either...but there you have it, there is someone postin something you / we don't like all the time. I find skipping to another thread helpful..
