pointe estero in fort myers beacj

I am reposting this because i don't recall getting responses. Does anyone know anything about this place? I am planning a "random" vacation (as in this is not going to be the vacation of a lifetime, just some fun in the sun) - will this place and ft myers beach work for me. Also, Captiva and Sanibel are not in the running, I need to get a suite type room and don't want to pay the prices for suites/condos on Sanibel/Captiva. (I am saving my pennies to go back to Little Dix). Thanks.

We stayed at Ponte Estero when we were looking for a new home here in the Ft. Myers area. It was a nice spacious 2 bedroon condo with a whirlpool tub, that had a great beach view. It had a nice pool area too! We liked it. The price was decent also. Like Sanibel a lot, but it is very pricey IMO. Judy

Keep checking....you received about four responses. It seems to take about a week for a recent posting to turn up in a search, so you may have to scroll down a few hundred.

Yes I remember your post. When you post you need to check it frequently. It will fall down quickly after several responses. All I contributed at the time was simply my husband and I drove through the area en route to Ft. Myers. It was very quiet, and seemed like a nice area. I had also spoken with some people who had stayed at Lovers Keys or Lovers Point.(??) They liked it very much, and wished they stayed there longer versus coming up to Ft. Myers. It seems to be along that stretch driving up from Naples to Ft. Myers. FT. Myers is far more busy, had all the tee-shirt shops etc. Neither good or bad, just depends on what you are looking for.
